Woman’s scent not ‘Very Irrésistible’ to Calgary bus drivers
A transit rider says she was kicked off a city bus twice because the drivers complained about her perfume. But Natalie Kuhn says she doesn’t believe her Very Irrésistible by Givenchy was the real issue, arguing she was publicly humiliated because Calgary’s transit staff are in the midst of a work-to-rule campaign.
Personally I do not agree with the Calgary Transit.This is atrocious. There is no reason to kick a Canadian Citizen off of the bus transit because of her perfume scent. I can just imagine the embarrassment this woman had to deal with. Having to argue with the bus driver on the bus to get off the bus would be humiliating. What makes the situation even worse is that Natalie Kuhn has been riding the bus for a total of five years. Why all of a sudden is she kicked off the bus because of her personal perfume scent?
“It’s very difficult to work once I am under the influence of perfume,” Deb Angus said.

I am sure that you are still able to drive a city bus, even though there is a strong smelling perfume on your bus. Sure the smell may annoy you but there is no reason why you can’t drive the bus, no matter how bad the perfume smells. There is no reason to kick the woman off the bus. There are many awful and strong perfumes but I’m sure the bus driver could put up with the scent for at least an hour, which I’m sure this woman wasn’t riding the bus for that long.
I give credit to Natalie Kuhn for taking a stand to this inconsiderate bus driver and going to check if their are any rules against this issue. It turns out that there isn’t a rule and that she had a total right to wear the kind of perfume she wants to, while on the bus. The next day after figuring out this regulation she went back on the bus. The driver said she wasn’t moving the bus until Kuhn got off of it. Eventually Kuhn did.
I have heard many unbelievable stories from public bus transits in the city, but this is one of the worst I have heard in a long time.

That is absolutely ridiculous that is no reason to kick a women off the bus. How stupid are they, kicking a women off just because of her perfume sent. I never heard of such a thing. It was interesting to reading. Good Work.

If I was this lady I would be very angry and upset at the driver of this bus. I would also feel a little embarrassed and probably not ever wear that perfume again. This is a really funny story story and i thought it was interesting to read about.

I see your point of view, but the bus driver maybe was destracted by the scent which would be bad in the case that he is driving. But I still think it’s stupid he kicked her off the bus. He could have told her to go at the back of the bus because I’m sure she didn’t put that much perfume on. Great paragragh.
