How do you deal with your fears?

Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. Believe it or not, everyone has had a experience with fear, good or bad. Fear can cause people to be more cautious around certain obstacles, or can bring out the braveness inside them and over come what is holding them back from their full potential. I handle my fears in many different ways. Sometimes i face them straight on, and sometimes a shy away thinking that I cant conquer the fears I have deep inside. The best way to tame your shyness and get over your fears, from my personal experiences, it to face them dead on and not let anything stop you from routing your fears. When I was younger, I had a deep fear of tornado’s. I was terrified by them and every time i saw a dark cloud, instead of me thinking it was just a could filled with rain, i thought of it as a catalyst for a tornado waiting to happen. How i overcame that fear? I stayed outside, in pouring rain, and stared into the clouds. After a few minutes, my fear vanished from my mind, in which i could never believe that it would hurt me. This doesn’t mean that I have always been accepting to conquering my fears, I have also shied away from them as well. Fears can be very difficult to deal with, which in turn, makes people cave and not try to surpass their state of mind. Fear can also make people very introverted and make them stay away from the reality of the world. Fear takes the worst out of people, but with massive drive and braveness, it can be overcame, easily.
