Am I Strong Enough

Wisdom

The gift of wisdom is the ability to know and apply spiritual truths and it is having the knowledge to make strong decisions. 1 Kings 3:16-28 Like the King said to the Prostitutes, to divide the son in two, and  then the mother of the baby cried to let the other woman take him, for she loved her son and cared too much to let him die. The ability to apply knowledge in an insightful way to different scenarios from where knowledge was gained.  God shares with us, his wisdom, to help us and others, to enter his kingdom. We also share our wisdom to younger generations for the years after we pass.  2 Kings 5:1-14 Elisha shows wisdom by sending a messenger to Naaman saying to go wash in the Jordan seven times, Naaman’s servants also show wisdom by talking him into washing in the Jordan River and trusting Elisha. Matthew 8:5-13 This passage shows wisdom because the centurion trusts the lord will heal his servant and it is shown by the lord because the centurion had such faith in his army that he didn’t have full trust in the lord entering under his roof.

Understanding

The gift of understanding helps us to realize other people’s emotions and thoughts and realize why they have done it. It also gives us the ability to be tolerant and forgiving of negative thoughts and emotions. This gift can help us other people and help them with their problems as you can grasp their problems and give them possible solutions to the problem. With the gift of understanding, you can help people who don’t believe God and help them to understand that God loves them and wants you to ascend to heaven with him. And with this gift that the Holy Spirit gave you,  you can help them believe in God and give them the religion of Christianity.

Luke 10:38-42 – Luke entered a village where a woman named Martha welcomed him to her house. She had a sister named Mary who was listening to God’s words. But Martha was distracted by her many tasks, so she came to the Lord and asked him why Mary had let all the work to her. But the Lord responded that she was distracted by many things and there is need of only one thing, and Mary had chosen the better part, and will not be taken away from her.

Ruth 1:3-18 – Naomi’s husband died and she was left with her two sons. The two sons took Matobi wives, than ten years later both of her sons died and she was left without her husband and two sons. Then she started to return with her daughters-in-law from the country Moab, for she heard that in the country that lord had considered his people and gave them food. So she started to travel to this land with her daughters-in-laws. But she said to them to go back to their mother’s house and wished them that the lord may deal kindly with them as they have dealt with the dead and her. And then wished them that the lord granted them security each of the two in the house of their husbands. She then kissed the two, and the two wept aloud. The two said to her that they would follow her with her people, but she questioned them why they would go with her as she was too old to get pregnant and too old to get a husband. But one of the wives said the she would follow their mother-in-law wherever. And when Naomi saw the determination in following her, she said no more.

Mark 2:1-12 – When Jesus returned to Capernaum after some days,  it was reported that he was at his home. So many gathered at his door, and there was no longer room for him, and he was speaking the word to them. Then some people came bringing a paralyzed man with him. And they could not bring him to the room, so they removed the roof and then laid the paralytic on the mat. When Jesus saw their faith and forgave the man’s sins. Some of the scribes were sitting there questioning him, as they thought only God himself could forgive sins. Jesus perceived in his spirit that they were discussing among themselves, he questioned why they would raise such questions in their hearts and which one would be more easier to say to the paralytic, your sins are forgiven or stand up, take your mat, and walk. He said to the man stand up, take your mat, and go to your home. The man stood up, took his mat, and walked to his house and all of them were in awe and amazed.

Acts 16:16-34 is about a jail guard who attempted to kill himself but got told by God to not harm himself for we are all here and how people accused the jews of stealing money and the whole kingdom beat them. How the lord told sirs how to be saved by believing in him and  he would be saved from evil and that same night he was baptized and he rejoiced that he was now a believer in God. A slave girl who was possessed met the apostles. She would follow them and call out and have fun with them. After many days Paul called the demon to come out of her in the name of the lord.  When she returned her owners realized she could no longer fortune tell and could no longer make them money. Then the owners said that the disciples  were disturbing the city and had them stripped of their clothes and beaten with rods, then put them in the cells.

Fear of the Lord (Wonder and Awe in God’s Presence)

Love

Corinthians 13:13 – Love is a very important part of your life and without it you will drift away from God. Love can help you threw a lot of troubles.  Love is part of all the gifts of the holy spirit and without it no gift is complete.

Our love for God will give us strength if we made big mistake God will forgive us,  because he still love us and he wants us to learn how to forgive people so we can make our world a better place. Out of all our gifts love is the strongest gift for all. It’s not just about our love to God  but also the love we show to God and others around us. And keep the ones who are close to us and keep us in faith to love and to respect. If we don’t show love to god our belief to god will be weaker and weaker.
