I love playing hockey because it’s a thrill seeking sport, whether you’re making move to avoid a defender or leaning into a forward to break his collarbone you get the thrill you’re looking and the sense of accomplishment that follows
Playing the guitar is an amazing to set the mood, you can make it mellow with songs like “More Than Words” or “Lucy In The Sky Of Diamonds”or create excitement with songs like “Rebel Yell” or “Hell’s Bells”.
Darts isn’t a super exciting sport, it isn’t rough or physical either, but in my family darts may as well be the national sport. Darts, for me, is an insanely competitive sport and is only made better when you win or get a 180 and I love it.
Leaving home always seems like a scary idea, you’re away from comfort and security, everything you’ve grown up around and you’re starting a life on your own. There are fears and anxieties, but also excitement and expectations, personally for me I’m more excited than afraid or scared. It’s a wonderful opportunity, a way to start my own life and make my own decisions, but it also means I’ll be away from all my friends, family, and people who have supported me. Although all this is true, for me the push overcomes the pull, the excitement for new opportunities defeats the fear of leaving my home, maybe it’s my want for independence, or my need for freedom. For me there is no fear about leaving home only anticipation and want.
