Concrete Angel is a wonderful song that really causes you to think about life. After listening to this song I always feel so thankful for the family, friends, and the life that I have.

Concrete Angel is a song about a little girl who has parents who beats her. People around her notice her bruises but don’t ask because she puts on such a happy face. For her to go through life feeling so hurt, and unloved is one of the most terrible things life can bring you. All she wants is to stop hurting and feel loved. Trying so hard to enjoy life and show no pain in the world where she is so little and helpless. One night this girl is hurt so bad that she’s screaming and crying for anyone to help her. Neighbors hear her but ignore her and turn off their lights. Morning comes and the little girl’s life was over.

Peace has finally come to this beautiful young girl and she becomes an angel. Flying she goes to heaven where she finds what was missing at earth, love. Life was not kind to her but she stood strong and lived the best she could.

This song makes you think of all the children in this world that have to go through what this girl went through. Every electronic, toy, or movie that I have wanted I feel like I don’t deserve because shouldn’t just being cared for, loved, and alive be enough. This song has so much meaning and I enjoy listening to Concrete Angel every time.

  3. I have never heard the song called concrete angel but I am sure I wouldn’t like it. This sounds like a girls song that most girls would like.
This sounds like a very touching song.
