Garbajosa Surgery Scheduled

Jorge GarbajosaWhen I was watching the Raptors game last night I saw Jorge Garbajosa’s injury. When Jorge was going up for a block he landed with all of his weight on one leg and it almost looked like he snapped his leg in half. It was very gruesome and dissapointing. Garbajosa is an amazing player on the Raptors. He is a great asset to the team and when I seen him go down I knew it wasn’t good. I’m sure that Garbajosa’s stellar defence will be missed. Garbajosa usually has to defend big name players like Jermaine Oneal or Ben Wallace. After taking a beating from them on the post he can still knock down the three pointers. Now that he is out for the season the Raptors bench is going to have to step it up so that they can fill his place.

Jorge flew back to Toronto on Tuesdy to see a foot and ankle specialist at the Toronto Western Hospital.

Garbajosa’s injury is the lastest injury for the Raptors. Andrea Bargnani is also excpected to miss the rest of the season after having his appendix removed. T.J. Ford and Chris Bosh also missed considerable time earlier in the season.

The following quote was taken from www.sportsnet.ca

“He’s a big part of our team, so we’re definitely going to miss him,” guard T.J. Ford said. “I hate that it happened because he brings so much to the table. On the defensive end, on the offensive end, his knowledge of the game — man it’s tough.”

That was well written paragraph. I think the Raptors will miss him for both his offence and defense. I liked how you organized your post and I couldn’t see any spelling mistakes.

It sounds like Garbajosa is a big loss to the Toronto Raptors. You covered the story well, but I wanted to hear more about how his injury happened. Great job.

It really sounds like you know alot about NBA Basketball. You were very descriptive on what happened to Garbajosa. The quote was quite interesting and your post was all around well written.
