I have been waiting for confirmation and now I have it.
Augustana University in Camrose is accepting application right now for their programs.
Their programs are non-competitive which means that if you meet the requirement you are accepted.

The University of Saskatchewan has updated me of several important notifications:
- Experience US! is on Oct. 11 and 12. Sessions fill up quickly and so students who want to tour and learn about the campus need to sign up soon. Check out explore.usask.ca/events/experience.
- Greystone Scholars Society is for students now in grade 12, had an average of 95% or better in grade 11. They are eligible to be nominated . More information and nomination forms are found at explore.usask.ca/moneymatters/awards/greystone.
- Prairie Studies is now being offered in the College of Arts and Science
- The College of Commerce is now named Edwards School of Business
- Food and Applied Microbiological Sciences is now called Food and Bioproduct Sciences.

Another great LifeHack article: Advice for Students – Taking Notes that Work.
Good notes help you because the classroom setting is not the best palce for thinking and piecing together the new concepts coming at you. Note taking frees your mind from having to remember details and how they fit together. Note taking organizes your thinking.
Write down things like dates, people, ideas, pros/cons, and anything your teacher mentions several times.
Try different note taking techniques. You’ll find one that works for you.

Pizza Party and Pancake Breakfast
This event features presentations and panels by graduate and undergraduate students on university academics, programs, athletics, bursaries, research and student life at the U of A. Participants will have an opportunity to meet with host University Chancellor Eric Newell and U of A President Indira Samarasekera.
Saturday’s pancake breakfast and student panel discussion is followed by a guided tour of Lister Centre (the largest student residence on campus) and University of Alberta’s Open House 2007 ( www.ualberta.ca/openhouse )
