Studying Tips
Test anxiety occurs when you excessively worry about an exam. When you blank out in an exam your brain is firing and not finding the correct information. There are ways to avoid to these situations. The best way is to have proper study habits.
- Spread studying over days or weeks. Don’t “cram” the night before.
- Try to relate the information you are studying to stuff you think you understand already. Use mindmaps, notes, study cards, etc.
- Practice for the type of exam: do math problems, practice on multiple choice exams, write a sample essay
