• Millennium Scholarship Leadership Award – deadline Dec. 15
• Alberta Press Council Scholarship – deadline January 15
• Elder & Leemaur Publishers Awards
• Terry Fox Humanitarian Award – deadline if Feb. 1st
• Boys and Girls Clubs of Alberta Scholarship – deadline is July 1st
• Steam-Flo and Master-Flo Scholarship – deadline is July 31st
• Toyota Earth Day Scholarship – deadline Jan. 31st
• Burger King Scholars Program – deadline is Dec. 15
• Greyhound Road Scholar Awards – deadline is in Feb.
• Miller Thomson Foundation – academics and community involvment awards
• Alberta Press Council Scholarship – you have to write an essay by Jan. 15
• Wendy’s Classic Achiever Scholarship – deadline is Dec. 20th
• Knights of Columbus has several scholarships available for members and children of Knights – deadline is May 1st.
• RBC Royal Bank Financial Lifeskills Scholarship deadline is May 11. Ten awards are available and you must have a minimum of 65% and enrolled in a college or university.
• A post-secondary bursary program is available for students aged 18 to 22 who have been in government care. More information about the program can be found at the website www.advancingfutures.gov.ab.ca.
• Grand Lodge of Alberta Higher Education Bursary for students in financial need – Deadline is March 1st.
