The Lions Club has a scholarship for grade 12 students. The scholarship is for students who demonstrate the spirit of volunteerism for his/her school, and who lives a life that reflects the character and philosophy that the Lions are known for.

The following materials must be submitted with your application:

• a transcript of most recent grade 12 marks from the school you last attended
• confirmation of acceptance from a post-secondary institution indicating the specific field, school or faculty into which you are enrolling
• letters of reference (max. of 4) with a detailed summary of your (a) character; (b) leadership roles within the school; (c) involvement in extra-curricular activities at school; (d) involvement in organizations in the community at large (e) work experiences; and, (f) special interests and hobbies
• a one page, self-written letter expressing why you should receive the award

Deadline is Sept. 30th.
