  • Anna & John Kolesar Memorial Scholarship deadline – July 1st

• Health
  • Aboriginal Health Careers Bursary – deadline is May 15th

• Engineering
  • APEGGA University Entrance Scholarships for students entering Engineering, Geology, or Geophysics at UofA or Uof C (or transfer programs in those fields) – deadline is July 15
  • Petroleum Society has scholarships available for students pursuing science or engineering related to the petroleum industry. Deadline is August 31st.
• Agriculture or Broadcasting or Rodeo
  • Bill Kehler Memorial Award – deadline is beginning of Sept.
  • Monsanto Canada Opportunity Scholarship – students from an agriculture or forestry family with plans to enter farming or forestry – deadline mid. July
• Journalism
  • C. A. MacLean Journalism Bursary – deadline is May 31st.
• Social Services
  • Alberta Children’s Services Metis and Non-status Busary Program – apply between Jan. 1 and April 30.
• Food Service/Hospitality
  • Canadian Hospitality Foundation is offering six $3000 scholarships for college entry and five $3500 university entry scholarships for students going into a program in culinary arts, hotel, tourism, food and beverage, hospitality, or resort training. Deadline is April 30th.
• Video Editing
  • The Cohenights Arts Society sponsors two annual scholarships ($1113.50
    and $556.50, respectively) for high school students to study at the Teen
    Video Intensive I and/or Teen Video Intensive II at Red Deer College.
