Strong Interest Inventory

Choosing a future path can be a tricky thing. Many people worry about chosing the right program or training. Many are not sure what they would like to do. To help with this decision, you can take the Strong Interest Inventory. (It is sometimes just called the Strong.)

The test is easy to take. It consists of over two hundred questions where you are asked to rank activities and topics. Your responses are compared to a large sample group and a report is put together. The report provides a list of topics and occupations that match your interests. Research suggests that you will be most satisfied in a job that involves activities you list as important.

It is important that you sit down with some one trained to interpret the report and go over its results.

St. Jerome’s School offers the Strong and it is administered by Mr. Collins. The cost is $12 to cover the expense of the reports. It is simple to arrange and the exam is taken online.
