Everyone has a subject they look forward to during the school day and everyone’s is different. Personally my favorite subject is gym. You can find a career through physical education through many different jobs. You could be a personal trainer, a gym teacher, sports medicine, human kinetics, and even sports psychologists. Any of those jobs seem fun to me.
Being a hockey player is my dream job, but my second dream job would be a personal trainer if a hockey player doesn’t work out. A personal trainer is an individual certified to have a varying degree of knowledge of general fitness involved in exercise prescription and instruction. They motivate their clients by setting specific goals that they thing suits that client. The estimated salary range is from $37,560 – $83,467 , according to my blueprints. Being a personal trainer you have to know your clients and know how to make them reach their goals and I find that would be a very interesting job.
Looking into human kinetics it looks like it would also be a job that would suit what I am looking towards. Kinesiology is the scientific study of human or nonhuman body movement. Kinesiology addresses physiological, bio mechanical, and psychological mechanisms of movement. I would like to learn how the body moves and be able to tell people why their muscles hurt and where. To become a kinesiologist you need to complete the 2 year program at a secondary school for minimum.
Another option I would consider is in sports medicine. Sports Medicine is an area of medical practice concerned with the treatment of injuries resulting from athletic activities. Working with athletes that have been hurt through sports would be interesting cause you would have to know about many different sports and what muscles they mainly use for that activity. I think that I would enjoy being a personal trainer or a human kinetics instead of being something in sports medicine.
Anything in health science’s seem likes a pretty cool job I would say. There is quite a few options you have for health sciences but those ones are some of my favorites. I like learning about the human body so that is why I like all of these jobs.
