Many of us question “how do you get into heaven?” or “Do all good people go to heaven?” Our God said “wide is the road that leads to destruction, and narrow is the gate to eternal life.” This means that it is easy to take the road that doesn’t lead to heaven, destruction is an easy road to follow, but the real challenge is putting in the effort to follow the path to heaven. To go to heaven it’s more than just believing in God, you have to actually go to church every Sunday and receive the eucharist. Everyone is invited and has the chance to get to heaven it’s just a matter of making the right choices and putting in the effort to get there. To have eternal life you have to profess your faith, saying apostles’ creeds can help with that.
Apostles Creed: I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
