Breaking Dawn

After reading all the Twilight series, my favorite one is Breaking Dawn. I enjoyed reading Breaking Dawn because this book has by far the most events and fights. I was waiting for this book for a long time, and the reason is that I want to read about Edward and Bella getting married. I thought that Breaking Dawn is one of the best books that I have read. Breaking Dawn talks about a lot of different events such as Bella getting pregnant, her struggles, Bella becoming a vampire, Jacob Black, Seth Clearwater, and Leah Clearwater abandoning the pack, Bella learning how to hunt and how to resist human scent. There’s events that I never thought would ever occur, and almost all of them surprised me, for example, Jacob, Seth, and Leah leaving their pack and home. I would have never thought that they would ever leave their home brothers and sister, parents and Alpha alone and join their enemies. Another part that I enjoyed is how Bella(Kristen Stewart) cooperates with her daughter Renesmee who was half human and half vampire. This was the most interesting and magnetic book that I have ever read.

When Edward proposed to Bella I was kind of expecting that. I always knew that he was the one to marry her, because their love seemed to be the most valuable and priceless piece of their lives. I believed that Edward really wanted to marry Bella a long time ago but he knew that she would never agree, but when he actually did propose she proved him wrong. Bella doesn’t like surprises and that kind of irritates Alice because she’s all for surprises, she planned Edward(Robert Pattinson) and Bella’s wedding and bought them a house and bought Bella a car. What I have learned over reading all the Twilight series is that Alice does not allow any of her family members to wear clothes twice in a row or even twice in a lifetime. That’s what pleases me about Alice(Ashley Greene), she’s kind of the fashion conscious person in the Cullen family. She makes sure that Bella is always dressed nicely, which Bella absolutely hates since she’s the person that enjoys wearing sweats, and the rest of her family as well, but especially Bella.

Emmett Cullen(Kellan Lutz) is one of my favorite characters in Breaking Dawn. He has lots of humor and appreciation. He is the one that makes the jokes or the one that laughs at jokes and appreciates Bella becoming a part of his family. Jasper(Jackson Rathbone) and Emmett are always the one making bets. One bet that bugged Bella is how many humans she will kill before getting used to the scent. Jasper and Emmett bet money on Bella. She thinks that they are being immature and childish to do that, Edward told her that they bet over every single action that she’s going to do so she should get used to all the bets. I agree with Bella though, after a while the bets must become annoying to have people betting over her, but I guess that thats the way they are. Bella can’t ever change Jasper or Emmett because they have been making bets for centuries. Betting also has advantages. Betting gets real competitive and fun, thats what counts, even though betting gets annoying at times.

Bella becoming a vampire was my favorite part in Breaking Dawn. She becomes introduced in to a whole new world that she knew was coming. Even though she knew that she was becoming a vampire, she still had some troubles adjusting. Vampires sound so mysterious and strong, their special abilities like reading minds for Edward, seeing the future for Alice, controlling emotions for Jasper, and letting the family listen to her thoughts when she touches their face for Renesmee, and they are all so fast, can live for ever, and beauty beyond reason which really amazes me. Bella was working toward becoming and wanted to become a vampire ever since she knew that such creatures existed and that Edward was one of these amazing creatures. When she does become a vampire, she starts missing out on her human life. That’s kind off the down side of becoming a vampire, missing the human life. I would struggle if I was in Bella’s shoes because I would miss my human life so much. Rosalie for instance had a “bad” life, she was being tortured by her finance and was left to die on the street. That was when Carlisle(Peter Facinelli), Esme(Elizabeth Reaser), and Edward found her and transformed her into a vampire. She still misses out on her human life because she wanted to experience events in life that she can never do when she’s a vampire, like having a baby. Rosalie was jealous of her friend when she was in her human life, because her friend had a wonderful husband and child. Rosalie wanted to have kids but now she can’t. I really like how she doesn’t blame Carlisle for his decision to transform her because if he didn’t change her then she would not be alive.

Breaking Dawn is my favorite book, because there is so many events, fights, and emotions in there to read about. I thought that Stephanie Meyer did a great job on Breaking Dawn, and that was definitely one of her best book that I read. All the events and fights caught my attention which made me feel as if I was there recording all the actions, that made me stop for a moments and really think about Breaking Dawn and how different it is from Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse. The different abilities that each vampire has is amazing and until I read all four books, I didn’t understand how these powers helped the Cullen family over come the challenges and bumps that interfered with their family. I would recommend all the Twilight series to people in my class that have not read the books yet, because these four books are at the top of my list and were the most interesting to me. I am sure the books will catch the readers attention as Breaking Dawn did to mine.

Eclipse Book Review

I read Eclipse Novelpiles of books and Eclipse is one of my favorites. One reason is that the vampires and the werewolfs work together as a team to defeat Victoria(Rachelle Marie Lefevre) and her army of new born vampires. Eclipse took me a while to read and at moments I would have to go back and read the last two pages that I read and then keep on. I was really surprised by how I never got bored of reading Eclipse, and that was because first of all there was so many events, romantic moments, and fights, and thats what made Eclipse worthwhile, interesting, and pleasing to read.

VictoriaThe fact that Seattle was being tortured by new born vampires that killed tons of people was very mystifying . I was always trying to guess who that was that was killing all these people living in Seattle. My first guess was Victoria, a vampire that was hunting Bella since Edward killed her mate, James, because I knew all along that she was going to come back for revenge. The surprising part was that she had an army of new born vampires. I thought that Stephanie Meyer made Victoria look extensively smart, and that was a part I enjoyed since most stories have a villain that always comes up with terrible revenges. In the end as usual she losses the fight and gets killed and burned by Edward Cullen and Seth Clearwater. I was satisfied when I read the part where she gets killed because that way she will never haunt Bella again. If I was ever in Bella’s shoes in the book then I would have been terrified, not just because I was being haunted but because Victoria has great strength and power to be able to kill me, she’s not just an ordinary person, she’s a VAMPIRE.

Teamwork was the key for killing Victoria and her army. I thought that Stephanie Meyer did a great job in introducing teamwork. She did a great job because it was vampires working with werewolfs. They used teamwork to help protect and defeatTeamwork. And I don’t really see vampires with werewolfs, because they are totally different creatures. She really emphasized that teamwork can get anything done successfully such as killing an army of super strengthen and powered vampires. I at first didn’t think that vampires mixed with werewolfs can get the mission accomplished, but as I read Eclipse kept throwing surprises at me. Well there is a lot of difference between vampires and werewolfs. Vampires are faster, but werewolfs are physically larger. I am not sure who’s stronger, but I think that werewolfs and vampires both have the same amount of strength. I thought that teamwork between the werewolfs and the vampires was a great move to defeat Victoria and her army.

Love is a hard emotion to find, at least Bella thought so. Bella was able to find her love for Edward but unfortunately not for Jacob Black(Taylor Lautner), a werewolf friend. In the book New Moon she hung out with Jacob most of her time and got to know him so much that she started loving him. I had a feeling that Bella felt the eJacob Balck (Taylor Lautner)motion of love after starting to know Jacob, but she never wanted to believe or admit the love that she had for him. I thought that even though she loves Edward she can still love Jacob, and besides Edward left her. Jacob was really nice to Bella after Edward’s breakhearting breakup with Bella, Jacob treated Bella like a sister and never let her get hut and was very protective over her, he helped her overcome the time that she was having troubles with forgetting Edward, so he was a great help for Bella and he deserves her love. I thought that she didn’t give him the treatment that he was offering and giving her even though at time she got annoyed by him. If Jacob was ever to treat me the way he treated Bella, I would have treated him the same way he would be treating me.

Readinga and readingEclipse definitely made my favorite books list. There was so many fights and events that occurred, and at time surprised me. Now I understand why so many people such as my friends were talking about Eclipse so much. Eclipse was an interesting, magnetic, exotic, and a captivating book. There was definitely some events that I just couldn’t stop reading and would always want to read and read and never stop, since the events and fights made me feel like I was actually there and every event and fight was true and I would be there watching the Cullen family or the werewolf pack to either work together or alone and help get through the fight and hardships that their lives throw at them.

Twilight and New Moon

After reading New Moon by Stephanie Meyer I have a load of interesting events that I found influenced me in a certain way of thinking about the book. I never really thought about reading New Moon until just about everyone in my classroom was talks. I decided to start reading the book, and after the first two chapters I couldn’t lay down the book from my hands, every time I had to stop reading I felt as if I stoped a movie. Even though Bella had an exhausting and depressing time dealing with the break up, the best part was that she had a friend to rely on and as time passed their friendship become closer and closer with every second, Jacob Black(Taylor Lautner) was the only one that was able to get Bella through the rough time she went through. There was three chapters that really caught my attention, The Funeral, The Ending, Vote.

The first chapter 18 is called The Funeral, the reason for that is because Charlie’s friend Harry died from a heart attack , so Harry was going to his funeral. After Charlie(Billy Burke) leaves, keeping Bella with Alice, Jacob dropes by. As he was talking to Bella the phone rings and Jacob quickly grabs the phone and answers. The caller is Edward(Robert Pattinson) but he says he’s Carlisle. Edward asks for Charlie, but Jacob tells him that he’s in a funeral. Now the interesting concept is that Edward gets the wrong message without asking who’s funeral that was, he thinks thats Bella’s funeral. And the rest of the other 6 chapter talk about how that trigired Bella’s life. If he would have asked who’s funeral that was before taking action that would have saved him the trouble with the Volterra’s, and saved the fact that Bella knows about vampires so that she would have had not to turn into a vampire. When I read the part where Edward calls I immediately knew what the ending was going to be.

The second Chapter that I liked is chapter 3 called The End. The End talks about Edwrad telling Bella that he doesn’t love her any more and she doesn’t belong to his world. I was so heart broken when he said that, I wondered how I would react if I was in Bella place and how I would feel. I would be fell terribly bitter and depressed. I thought that there was no need for the shocking break up, just because Jasper attacked Bella after a paper cut, because that wasn’t her fault that Jasper could not handle being around her. I considered the fact that Edwrad should have measered all the possibilities of Bella being around a family of vampires, not after he stole her heart and put her in danger. That was one of my preferred events in the whole book since that showed how Bella’s life would be changed by that one careless decision by Edward.

The third best chapter is chapter 24 called Vote. That chapter adress the point of when Bella(Kristen Stewart) asks the Cullen family to vote in favor of her becoming a vampire, and of course she wins the votes and gets the approval to become a vampire. I have always wanted her to become a vampire a nd a part of the Cullen family, since she really understands them and is loved by everyonee in the family. Plus she knew all the facts and rules about vampires, so she didn’t have to wait to be able to know all the rules of becoming a vampire. The only worry is that what is she going to tell Charlie after becoming a vampire, because she won’t be able to be in the sun, eat normal food, maybe no be able to resist the scent and attacks him, but I am sure that they’ll come up with an excuse or not tell him at all.

Overall, I considered New Moon to be an interesting, captivating, and an intense book. There were so many events that made me feel as if I was in the book with them, like when Bella jumped off of the cliff, she described the water so well that I felt as if I was there with her. The way Stephanie Meyer wrote the book made all the events in New Moon seem alive. The Funeral, The End, and Vote are all situations that trigered Bella’s life to becoming closer and closer to a vampire even though she didn’t know that, and thought that they were unfortunate events.
