Easter in Greece

Easter in Greece sounds amazing, with all the stories and photos Mr. Sader told and showed the class. In Greece, there are churches every three blocks. That’s amazing there are only around ten churches in Vermilion. Just imaging how many churches there would be in Athens. On Easter there is a light that is very important the meaning is. At the opening of the Easter Vigil a “new fire” is lit and blessed. The Paschal candle is the first candle to be lit with a flame from this sacred fire, representing the light of Christ coming into the world. This represents the risen Christ, as a symbol of light life dispelling darkness death. Patmos is one of the best places to practice Christianity. Greece would be one of the best places to go and celebrate the rising of Jesus.
