Where did you go bernadette? (The Hero’s Journery)

When I went to Victoria BC, my grandma I went to go see a movie. We went to see Where did you go, Bernadette.  At first, I thought that it was going to be a comedy movie because that’s what it said on the billboard, but I was wrong it was a Drama/Mystery story.

It was a wonderful movie and I think that it showed some of the storylines of the Hero’s journey.  I start off the same were they live a normal life and then you see that something is wrong and they have to overcome that fear. “Former architect Bernadette Fox seems to have it all — a beautiful home in Seattle, a successful and loving husband, and a brilliant teenage daughter who’s about to attend boarding school. When Bernadette suddenly disappears without a trace, her concerned family sets off on an exciting adventure to solve the mystery of where she might have gone.”

I think that it would be a good movie if they had comedy and action in a hero movie. I think that because then you would have to think about different things and I think that everyone likes comedies.  Kids I think would also like it because they always want to laugh at the dumbest things. I would not make it so scary but something that keeps you on your toes.

I think that the storyline in both of these stories is good but I think that there should be different storylines because than it gives it more variety. It would also help make there more not so similar movies that are good.  Overall I liked them both a lot.

dream house

My all-time favorite house would be a log house. I have always wanted one because of how nice they are and how western they look.  I would like to have one on a farm on a hilltop overlooking the farm. When I’m older I think that I’m going to save up for one. Having one would be the best thing ever.

Other people have different opinions on what houses they would like. I would love to have a log house. I like them because of the way the sunlight hits the house. I would also like one because then people would know you as a rancher or something of that kind. That would be so wonderful. I can just imagine a pathway to the front red door and going inside to the big windows overlooking the big ranch.

When people go out in the country what do they expect the houses to look like? I’m assuming that you would look for log houses it is just such a western thing.  I am a western person if you did not know and having a log house would just bost my western take. People would know me for my log house and they would also love to come out more because it is so nice.

What do we all do once and a while we flex on people right? Now wouldn’t it be nice if I could flex on people for the longest time people who have bigger houses than me, that’s fine because when I’m older I will have a big log house and it would also be so nice. Having one and everyone who would drive by would think man that is a nice house that would be a wonderful place to live. Well, that’s me.

Overall I think that having a big log house would be the best thing ever all around. I could flex on people, people would know that I’m western, and the last thing it just looks so nice. that is why I would love a log house.

What my dream car would be.

If I could have any car in the world I think that I would choose the Camaro.  ever since I little had always wanted a Camaro, I like it because Its kinda a nicer looking car but on the bulker side witch, I like.  When you are driving on the highway you want to feel safe you don’t want to feel like you are going to be plowed by a truck or semi.  They are super comfy.

I’m sure that most people would like to drive a nice car, but will you feel safe in it. One of the reasons that I would like a Camaro is that you would feel safe and not feel like something is going to run you over. It is on the bulker side witch is nice because in Canada we have some snowstorms and when drifts and ice are on the roads you don’t want to have a car that will slide or hydro plan. I would just love to have one. I also had a look at the web sights and the cars have lights in them. that is not the best part you can change the color of the lights.

One thing about cars is that you want them to be comfy. When you are driving you should have a nice comfy chair because you are driving and sometimes you are on the road a lot. The best thing is to have a comfy chair, but something that you would not want is to be in an uncomfortable chair as you are driving. On the websites, it said that they have red seat belts. That is so cool.

I just think that if I owned one of these cars I could flex on people. I could also have a nice comfy drive. I would also feel safe and feel like I’m not going to get run over. In wintertime, it would also be nice to have because it is bulkier than most cars. Overall I would love this car.

Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow.

Helen Keller was a wonderful woman. She had so many things against her but she proved them all wrong. she was born on June 27, 1880. When she was 19 months old she became very sick the doctors described it as an unknown illness and “acute congestion of the stomach and the brain” they soon found out that she is both blind and deff.

My big question was how, how could she do all those things without hearing or seeing? Now that I have read about her I think that she only got over that wall because she worked hard,  she wasn’t out dragging her but in the sand waiting for something to hit her like a lightning bolt. She had to prove to her self that she could get over that big wall that was in front of her that everyone thought that she could not do it. Hellen was a remarkable person when she was the age of 8 she had learned how to slowly learn words. One day Anne took Helen to the water pump outside and put Helen’s hand under the spout. As the cool water gushed over one hand, she spelled into the other hand the word “w-a-t-e-r” first slowly, then rapidly. Suddenly, the signals had meaning in Helen’s mind. She knew that “water” meant the wonderful cool substance flowing over her hand. That is when she learned to read and understand words.

When Hellen Keller was young she needed someone to help her out. That is when she met Anne Sullivan, she helped her ever since she was 7. They had an unbreakable bond.  Anne Sullivan helped her learn things like how to wright and somewhat how to speak. I think that the reason that Helen was so nice and did her best through everything is that Anne helped her do all of that.  Another thing that I think is true is that Anne gave her pride and joy to look after Helen until the day that she died.

I think that the reason that she was so optimistic is that I think that she had to be in order to prove to people that she was more than just a blind person.  When someone makes fun of you what do you do? Me I just don’t take offence to anything because I try and be the bigger person. I wish that this world is like Helen Keller because we need more people to “strive towards greatness”(Mr Sader). I don’t think that everyone should be the same everyone is different in their own way embrace that.

I love that Helen Keller proved everyone wrong that she was more than what the eye saw.  She was just such a nice genuine person who loved everyone. I think that I would like to try and be like her from now on. Life is going to but a big wall in front of you and life is how you are going to react to it or get over it.
