The Person I Want To Become
Posted by admin on Wednesday Apr 8, 2009 Under BlogrollThe person I want to be is successful in my goals, have a loving and happy family, and a career that is satisfying for myself and supports my household and the style of life suited for my life in the future. Having goals in life can give a sense of being and self worth when the goals are achieved. Even when the goals are not as successful as you want them to be, there is a sense of trying and knowing next time you try the goal there has to be more effort and skill put into the goal. A loving family can give you courage and support to reach the goals and the person you want to become. Without family to support you and give you traits to make you unique, all people would be like the stars on movies and shows. The reality part of getting traits from parents makes the world unique and have different opinions on issues that are debated every single day all over the world. Careers are difficult to choose and can be stressful to choose when your in high school, and don’t exactly know what you like and would enjoy for the rest of your working career. Knowing what you enjoy is important because the earlier you start the career you enjoy the sooner and easier life becomes. The person I wish to become is not going to be perfect but will bring happiness in my life even if the happy and successful moments are scarce and limited. There are depressing and mile stones in a human’s life and looking at the positive will give a better perspective on life. Positive thinking and actions can make a persons life more happy and bring joy to others that experience and learn from being positive in all aspects of the journey through life. Expecting to be perfect will only bring more disappointment than life should have.
Goals can make a person stronger and willing to try new experiences and make life go smoother with more determination and courage. The determination to try your goal and the thrill and excitement from reaching your goal. Having a goal and having the courage to try and accomplish the needed goal is a wish come true. People wish for their goals and dreams to come true all the time and some do not even try but just think the wish is out there, that the wish will be enough effort. Marks in school are an example of wishing and goals. All student wish they would just magically be an honor student and not have to lift a finger to achieve the marks. The smart students have the determination to study, pay attention in class, and finish their work and only in rare cases that tactic does work out. Failure will either make you give up on the goal but a strong person will stand right back up and try again with a different strategy and points of view on the topic. Studying from reading off a paper most likely is not going to work in a pure math class and trying questions and practicing examples will give the result wanted and desired for future plans and life. The self worth and self of accomplishment from achieving the goal you de can be the best feeling in the world. Being proud of the effort and the time you spent reaching the goal is greater than just reaching a goal with no effort.
Family raised me and have generally made me the person I am today. There are people at school, friends, and popular influences that are the fake part of a person. My family have the same traits and the same personality and will give me support and the strengths and ideas that have helped them with problems and goals. There are subtle differences but the failure and not being perfect should only make you stronger and try to be more clever next time. Having a family that loves me for the person I am is a blessing I have taken for granted before. Sure personalities clash in my family, mostly the stubborn trait, and the outcomes involves fighting and disappointment. Being stubborn come bring disappointment and the only way to get rid of the disappointment is to brush off the failure and either start over or accept the fact parents have their reasons, even if their reasons make no sense. Thinking about taking my family for granted hurts and I hope I teach my kids to respect me, as well as me respect their opinions and choices as much as possible. Respect is a word that gets thrown around and respect to me is only deserved when mutual respect is given. Controlling and higher authority isn’t my idea of respect and respect should be earned in all aspects. My family now, and my future family, will give me the love and the will to live for them and myself and will make me happy. The past and future moments my family will give me makes me happy to know that our bond is strong and there is no family like my own. There will be disappointment and betrayal with my family but they will make me feel better with the love and respect they treat me with.
The final career that an individual picks makes a person who they are and determines what they enjoy in life. Teachers love kids, doctors want people to be healthy, and construction workers love the money and the hard work. I want to become an orthodontist assistant for three reasons. I get along with younger people and their personalities. I’m not old enough to know that for a fact yet but I prefer young adults more than adults. Adults have their set opinions and habits and to chance the teen’s habits for the better will have a larger success rate than adults with their set routine. Making people smile and want to smile is a goal I’d love to reach. Having braces is hard to smile and show the metal isn’t attractive. Knowing that I will get the braces off is an amazing feeling. The feeling of being able to smile for pictures and school photos without being shy and not wanting to portray that your a nerd or a geek is not a great one. I want to remind the kids to look forward to the feeling of pride and confident when the braces come off. The excitement of counting down the months, weeks, and days till the braces come off is exciting and a mile stone feeling for people with braces. No more pain and holding on to the memories with braces and making life more confident with them off. The final feeling is to support my family, enjoy going to my job, and having the feeling of accomplishment every single day of work. The money and feeling that I know I love my job would make life less stressful and negative. My life and my family’s life, in the future, will be the most important and supporting them with my income and love will help me live happily and make life positive.
Life is filled with goals and choices. All choices will determine life and the way to live life. I want my life to consist of family, my lifetime career, and the goals I wish to achieve throughout my life. Life will be successful as long as I have the three essentials I wish to have. My goals will help me gain confident and the determination to try harder when the goal isn’t accomplished successfully. My goals will have meaning and give me the boost in life to accomplish actions I’m scared of and wouldn’t try if previous goals weren’t done. Respect and love from family will make my life worth living. I can’t imagine not having a family or not being loved for the real person you are. My career I want currently want to pursue will help me find who I am and what I want in life. Where ever my goals and choices take me positivity will make me life a happy life. Having a positive and loving life will give others joy and give me more joy and happiness. Being positive and not expecting to be right all the time will make me who I want to be.
