Best I Can Be For God
Posted by mpottle on Friday May 1, 2009 Under BlogrollGod thinks of us as how we treat others, manage ourselves, and the way we live our lives whether in God’s perceptive or our own. Treating others the way we want to be treated is one of God’s golden rules. Having the valuable trait of treating other people as you’d like to be treated at all times is an advantage in today’s world. No person wants to be treated poorly or without respect. The self control and natural quality of treating people with kindness and respect brings joy to countless people. People don’t understand how or when they treat their bodies below what God would want. Smoking, alcohol, and greedy diets are examples of enjoyment that are not what God wants. People believe if those examples make them feel good then the substance is good for their bodies and state of mind. The choice to live life without God is our own. God doesn’t necessarily want people to follow him but to live their lives with the compassion that God would. Choosing to live a healthy and spiritual life is the life God wants us to live. God doesn’t expect us to follow all his rules literally all the time. People make mistakes. The effort your putting into life and living healthy is what counts. God wants us to take the best of ourselves and make this world better with our traits that advance our lives in a positive way.
How we treat others won’t cost your self esteem or life any setback but there may be misfortune for being rude and not respectful. Respect for others and their needs will get you far in life. In situations when there is a higher authority respect and the treatment of the higher or even equal level will decide where and if building in that career will happen. The military is a perfect example for respecting higher, older and more experienced people above yourself. If any disrespect is given there is punishment. When the cadet follows the rules and authority there is chance and hope to continue to grow and gain a higher ranking. A personal example would be with my parents. My parents don’t put up with disrespect and neither do I. I don’t have the patience or will to calmly ask or gain respect. I treat people as they treat me. Treating people as I’d like to be treated only applies to me when they have earned respect or respect is needed to advance in their “good books”. Having an attitude is a disadvantage to God’s rule of treating others. My advantage is being a decent person and giving people limitless chances to regain my trust and respect. I try to make my relationships as healthy as they can be with my advantages but I’m not perfect and am trying to live like God would want me to.
Freewill and the control we have over our lives with decisions and experiences can either be either the way God would live or the carelessness of what God wouldn’t want. Taking care of our bodies and the lives we have make us the kind of person we want to become and be in the future. Exercising and taking care of our body and not over indulging in food and drugs. God wouldn’t want us to be selfish and hurt our bodies for the happiness we can possess in a sober life. Believing in God helps me not to be tempted by drugs. There are substances that harm my body and a mistake of over indulgence can make me feel horrible. Thinking about how much alcohol and smoking can damage my body God gave me and to take care of is disappointing. I’m not as bad as most but knowing I can’t be as healthy and faithful to God is hard to accept. Most teenagers do need their fixes of substances but there should be a limit and a realization of how much they consume thats hurting their body. My disadvantages is peer pressure and the time of the temptation. After a hard week and being with friends can tempt me to drink and I’m working to fix that temptation. My advantages I’m very proud of. Not even tempted by doing drugs and getting high is one of my strongest beliefs. I don’t believe in drugs and know what they turn people’s lives into and wouldn’t wish that on any person in the world. Not doing drugs has made and will make my life the best life and goals I wish on myself without limitations.
The determination and goals of people’s lives are on themselves. People choose how they wish to live and the choices they make. The pressure to choose every aspect of our lives can be stressful. When I make a choice I think what would be the best for me and all the other people involved. I rarely think what would God do. I don’t not consider what would be the best act based on my values and religion. I don’t go to church but I believe in the word of God and his commandments. God has guided my decisions because my values mirror most of God’s values. God said in the ten commandments not to worship any person but him. Believing a person is greater than god isn’t right. There are rumors about how the earth was make and how all the creatures came to be. There would be proof if there was the big boom of a large planet that collided and made the universe. Believing God made the Earth makes sense to me because of the logic of the long told stories and miracles he did and put on this Earth. Advantages in believing in God is the reassurance he will always love and be with us at all times even when no one else is. God will love us for who we are and the people we become because he created us and believed in freewill and our determination for life. Disadvantages I have would be not going to church and showing my faith as often as I should. I don’t believe people have to go to church to believe in God but that would be a successful way of showing people your faith and respect for God. I have tried to make this world a better place by being myself and following God’s will for his human race and Earth.
There is no way of knowing what God expects or wants us to accomplish. Not knowing is hard to determine what is right or wrong and making the wrong decision in the end makes you feel disappointed and a sense of failure with God. God don’t judge and we should live the way we’re comfortable. My life is based on a few of God’s values and tie into my own. Treating others with respect won’t give us misfortune. People can only gain with being respectful and courteous with others. the freewill we have in life can frustrate others and myself. Being able to control almost all the aspects of life is stressful because a small mistake can change your life forever. Living the way of God depends on the person. I like to live with some of God’s values to better my life. God wants us to be the people we are best at being and make this world better with our advantages and faults.

God will always be there, no matter how far we turn away from him. Which is a really comforting message of hope. No matter how bad we screw up, he will always be there to forgive, and help us through our hard times. God wants us to strive to be the best we can be, and to live our life to it’s fullest.

God’s golden rule is the best life virtue to have because it shows the respect you have for yourself and others. The golden rule dominates your believes and values in life also. Some people have a hard time finding and understanding God and therefore live their lives without God, bot God is still right beside them if they ever see the light and come to believe in God.

I believe that there’s one god for christian muslims and Jews we just all have different views on holy scripture. Its a scary Idea that god is watching us at all times but if we act if he is always watching we wil act what we believe is right in his eyes this will make us avoid doing things shameful. He is watching now are you living right.
