Father Joy is the new priest at st.jeromes school and in the short period of time he was here introducing himself I learned Quite a few things, for example, he told us he can from India. Father joy is from a small part of India called Kerala. Kerala is a state on the southwestern Malabar coast of India. Spread over 38,863 km2 (15,005 sq mi), Kerala is the twenty-third largest Indian state by area. It is bordered by Karnataka to the north and northeast, Tamil Nadu to the east and south, and the Lakshadweep Sea to the west. With 33,387,677 inhabitants Kerala is the thirteenth-largest Indian state by population. It is divided into 14 districts with the capital being Thiruvananthapuram. Malayalam. is the most widely spoken language and is also the official language of the state. Below is a picture of Father joy from Santa Maria Goretti, Edmonton, AB. Father Joy’s full name is Fr. Joy Vadakkan.
Father joy told as about his journey and his family he said he has an older sister that left when he was five to be a nun she was only 18. His mom and dad were hesitant about his going to become a priest when he was in grade 10, they wanted to make sure that this was for sure what he wanted to do with his life. So they asked him to stay and he did and after he graduated he was still sure that this was what he wanted to do with his life and so they let him go. His sister had always been supportive of his dreams. He said that they were going to send him to somewhere else before he got sent here in which he would have had to learn a new language but he declined because he thought it would be hard for him to learn a new language.luckaly he got sent here to a little town in Alberta called vermillion we are all excited to have a new priest and we hope he can teach us as much as father roger did.
The tenth Commandment and the first beatitude talks about “the poor” and the “poor in spirit.”
Poor is defined in the dictionary as lacking sufficient money to live at a standard considered comfortable or normal in society and poor in spirit is meant that we must be humble in our spirits. If you put the word “humble” in place of the word “poor,” you will understand what He meant.
Like the bible says we know that “poor in spirit” does not mean lacking in spirit, be it courage, the Holy Spirit, or religious awareness. Rather it is that poverty is not only a physical condition but also a spiritual one.
Some examples of good desires or goodwill would be to
- Call Congress.
- Inform Yourself.
- Build Buzz/Raise Awareness.
- Social Media.
- Get Political.
- Be a Consumer with a Cause.
This is ways that you and your community and anyone can help the poor and poor in spirt
The survey motivations told me I am independent and need reconition as my blueprints said the two factors that motivate my independence include. I’m not controlled or influenced by others in matters of opinion, conduct, decisions, etc.; thinking or acting for myself and I’m not subject to the authority or control of others.
As for recognition goes I think it means that I like being recognized for my achievements and taking responsibility for my actions.
By completing the knowledge survey on my blueprints I learned that I am the best at math, language arts, and computers. Math courses help me develop problem-solving and reasoning skills. Topics I may thrive at include: Calculus, Geometry, and so on.
English courses help me develop English language skills and gain a deeper understanding of literature. Topics I may thrive at include: Reading, Writing, and Communication.
Jobs they say might interest me are Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.

I recently have finished the my interests survey on my blueprint that tells you my interests.
I am considered the translator and my two primary interests traits are Artistic and social as the trait artistic I require self-expression, creativity and usually feature work that can be done without following a clear set of rules. These occupations usually require an environment where flexibility, variety, and change are expected. For example, designing clothing.
Social Occupations revolve around people. These occupations usually involve assisting, teaching, healing or serving others. The focus of Social Occupations can range from very practical to higher academic outcomes. Like acting.
I completed the personality survey on my blueprints.
my personality is described as social and loves being around others. Likes to be the center of attention and specks my mind . I’m a person who sees the big picture and is inventive and an abstract thinker. I’m not influenced by personal bias and I focus on the final project. I’m thoughtful organized and good at planning and am very logical.
I just completed the my learning style survey and found out that I’m 38% Kinesthetic, 36% Visual, and 25% Auditory.
Kinesthetic is a learning style that requires being active a doing things to learn, taking breaks and using hand gestures.
visual is pretty much how it sounds it means I learn by watching.i tend to sit in the front and take many detailed notes and benefit by presentations with numerous colors.
auditory is the learning style in which u hear what you learn u take to yourself while you study and like listening to podcasts and books
