Exodus 18:13-27

What is Moses’ problem?

Who helps him solve it in a logical step by step way?

Moses’ problem is that he’s taking the position of the judge for the people. The people come to him and ask him to judge their disputes. This task is too much for one person to handle by himself. It will only negatively impact both parties involved. His father-in-law offered a solution, “create a council.” The Intelligence is Interpersonal because of the wisdom of Moses’ father-in-law provides.

John 11:16

Who has a very matter-of-fact attitude?

What does he say?

Thomas has a very matter-of-fact attitude. Thomas says, “Let us also go, that we may die with him.”

John 20:24-29

Whose need for proof does Jesus understand and accept?

Jesus understands and accepts Thomas’ need for proof. The proof that Jesus presents is the physical nail marks. This is considered  interpersonal because of Jesus’ understanding of Thomas’ need for physical proof.

Commandments of the Church

The five Commandments of the Church are

1.You shall attend Mass on Sundays and on holy days of obligation.

2.You shall confess your sins at least once a year.

3.You shall receive the sacrament of the Eucharist at least once during the Easter season.

4.You shall observe the days of fasting and abstinence established by the Church.

5.You shall help to provide for the needs of the Church.

You shall attend Mass on Sundays and on holy obligation. This means that attendance is mandatory for people who are pursuing the Catholic faith. The days of holy obligation are (for Canada) Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God (January first) and Christmas December twenty fifth). You shall confess your sins at least once a year. This refers to the practice of Confession in the Catholic faith. Confession is one of the seven sacraments, in which one confesses their sin to the priest. If one does not confess a serious sin then he/she is condemned to hell. You shall receive the sacrament of the Eucharist at least once during the Easter season. The Eucharist is Christian ceremony commemorating the Last Supper, in which bread and wine are consecrated and consumed. You shall observe the days of fasting and abstinence established by the Church. This implies that any person that is fourteen or older must fast from all meat products on Ash Wednesday (March sixth 2019 is the next Ash Wednesday), Good Friday  (April nineteenth 2019 is the next Good Friday), and all the Fridays in Lent (Lent starts on March sixth and ends on April eighteenth 2019). You shall help to provide for the needs of the Church. Back when the Church was considered a main power in several European countries, it was required to pay a tithe to the Church. A tithe is ten percent of your income that had to be payed to the Church. In modern times tithes are no longer required but it is still possible to donate to the Church. This is my current understanding of these five Commandments of the Church.

Motivations

My primary motivation factor is achievement. This means that when I do something I want it to count for something or in other words I want to accomplish something. I also like to use my personal set of skills to accomplish something. If I fail something or leave it incomplete it makes me feel unsatisfied inside. I look for situations where I can use my valuable knowledge and skills to show up someone. I’m not a modest person especially towards my friends and other people that I know well. I can be quite boastful.

My secondary motivational factor is relationships. This means that I like to connect emotionally with people. I think one of the most valuable relationship in a person’s life is friends. A good friend can lead you through the good and bad and still be by your side. However you lose and make friends more than often they are not a permanent occupation. This may be due to may different things such as moving, fights, lost interest in something that you were interested in and had nothing in common. I value these relationships

Knowledge

My top subject area is social science this means that I like to learn about aspects of my society and other societies. Some subjects being history, geography, law and politics. My favorite is history. My second area is business. By studying business you can obtain a deeper knowledge of how business operates. Some of the topics are, accounting, entrepreneurship and marketing. Science provides and deepens your understanding of basic scientific concepts and how they relate to your everyday life. Topics that apply are biology, chemistry, physics.

Interests

My interest type is the Consultant. This means that I am investigative and enterprising. Investigative means that I like to work with theories, concepts, information, and ideas. By using my curiosity, logic, research, analysis, and science. Enterprising is heavily involved in the world of business. Enterprising occupations frequently require leadership and management skills and the willingness to take risks. Other important factors is that I like to work with people information and ideas. My basis are strong bias for independence, moderate bias for thought, moderate bias for structure and routine, moderate bias for thinking with my head.
