Who Am I? Interests.

My interest type is the activist. I am social and realistic. One of my interests is social. I wound definitely consider myself as a “social bee”. I love talking, sharing stories, or helping others whenever I can. Many people are unconfortable when it comes to big social gatherings, but I quite enjoy them. Another one of my interests is reality. The survey says, “realistic occupants involve practical, hands-on activities. It also says we like to be outdoors, which is very true for me. I also don’t like paperworks, desk work, or really anything which involves staying still. I need to be moving, and feeling like I’m making a difference.

Some of the jobs I am currently interested in are something in the medical field, or a teacher. For a very long time I have always dreamed of being a doctor. One of my goals in life is to go to a third-world country and be a doctor there for a year or so. I also want to go to a country that was recently devastated (ex. hurricane, tsunami) and help people there. Because of my ambitious goal in life, I very much need to be realistic. Money, family, time, safety, and much more are all limitations that could stop me reaching my goals. I love learning (depends on the subject). I absolutely love history. Social is my favourite subject. I am so fascinated by the past. I have also always had a soft spot for human anatomy, in particular, the brain as well as experimental medicines. If I were to become a doctor, I would probably fall into experimental/clinical trials. If not, probably your typical doctor or a surgeon. Another thing I would find incredibly awesome, a rehab-councillor. That would be so much fun and I think I would really enjoy doing that. With all of these, it is very important to be social, which I am so thats good. Again, I love learning and talking, so a teacher seems perfect, right? I would love to work with little kids, like grade 1 or 2 or else middle level. I would like to be the fun teacher, makes a lot of jokes and very little homework, but I guess thats up to the kids to decide. Being social is very important as a teacher and being able to get up in front of the crowd and talk. I don’t have any problems with public speaking.

One of the jobs recommended to me was prosthetic. I got a 68% match. I do not think I would like this. There is a lot of details involved in this. It is a very prestigious job and there has to be lots of practicality thought into the design and material for different people and their different needs. I would definitely have to be realistic in this job as well as social because I would have to listen to the patients stories and their wants with the prosthetic.

Another one of my job recommendations was a community health care worker. I got a 58% match. I would not like this job. I am not a fan of telling people what to do, how to do it, or how to do it better. Thats a lot of what a community health care worker is. I just don’t think it’s for me. This job would definitely require social skills because almost all of it is talking and questioning people.

A chiropractor was also recommended to me. I had an 81% match to this job. I think I would really like doing this. This is right up my ally because I love looking and peoples x-rays and talking/question them to figure out what there problem is. I also would kind of find it cool to crack peoples bones. This would definitely require realistic interests. Being able to read and understand a patients fine, as well as their x-rays and listening to the patient as well to find a source of the problem. As well, this would require communication skills.
