Who Am I? Knowledge

My top three subject areas are 1. physical education (94%), 2. languages (78%), and 3. science (also 78%).

Physical education pretty much can be summed up as an appreciation for a healthy as well as active lifestyle. Some topic include, but are not limited too, sports, wellness, and health science. I love sports, especially hockey. I would consider myself a fairly active person. I workout almost everyday too.

Language courses help you develop communication skills in different languages. Things like reading, writing, listening, and speaking are all topics included under this category. This one sort of surprised me, but not really. I really want to learn a new language. I love sharing stories with people and am comfortable public speaking. That is a good skill of mine that many people lack. I like reading sometimes. I guess it depends on the book. I am not a fan of reading out loud. I also don’t like reading comprehension. I’m not the best at it, but I’m certainly not the worst. I’m somewhere in between. As well, I do not like writing stories. I’m creative, yes, but it just doesn’t appeal to me.

Coming in at the same percentage as language is science. Science courses help you understand basic science concepts and relate them to your life. A few topics in science are biology, chemistry, and physics. This one is sort of right on the money in some sort of way. The majority of science is not my forte. However, I absolutely love biology. I want to work in the med-field when I’m an adult. I find the human body so incredibly fascinating. I love learning about anatomy. As for the rest of science, I’m not going to complain if I were not forced to learn about it.

My career cluster involves working with human and animal health. Health science includes managing and providing therapeutic services, diagnostic services, and health information. It also involves research in biology and biotechnology, and the application of knowledge to improve health and prevent disease.

I think I would enjoy most things in the medical field. I like working with my hands and being active. I could never do a desk job. I also like to socialize. This relates to my interest in physical education, language, as well as science.
