How to Bake Cupcakes

On Friday, February 7th, me mad cupcakes from a mix. I will be writing about how we made them.

To start we whipped down our workstation and filled the sink with water before getting our mixer and muffin trays.


Next, we put the dry mix into the mixer and began gathering our wet ingredients.


We cracked two eggs into a separate bowl to make sure no shells got in the mix and that the eggs were good.


After cracking and adding the eggs we measured out 1 1/4 cup of water and 1/2 cup of vegetable oil and added them to the bowl.


While that was being mixed we put the cupcake wrappers into the trays.


With the batter mixed and the trays ready we began to fill the trays.


With the trays filled it was time to put them in the oven


We started with 14 mins and then added an extra 5 to make sure they were all thoroughly cooked.


While the cupcakes were baking I started doing the dishes


While checking the cupcakes the first time we lost one after it fell out of the tray.


Luckily we only lost the one and all of the others turned out fine.


While baking the cupcakes I realized that the difference between a muffin and a cupcake is that a cupcake is meant to be sweet and a muffin is meant to be more whole.
